THE RUN SHEET

Friday September 11 · six names — 3v3 and 3v4, bots filling to 6v6 all night

Six of us, so no sheet. Friday September 11 was small enough that the group just played — and a night without a sheet still gets graded, because the model that would have built one was sitting right there. Everything below is the real record, priced with that model as it stood before the first game. Night 81 of a record that starts 2025-02-09.

✅ How it went — Friday September 11

No run sheet this week. Six names turned up and the group didn't need one — so there are no planned splits on this page, because there were none. What there is: the real rosters from the match record, each priced with the model exactly as it stood before the night, and graded honestly against what happened. Every game ran with bots filling both sides to 6v6, as always. 5 customs, 6 names, nobody sat.

Winner in gold. The pre-night favourite went 3–2, and side A won 2 against 1.4 expected. Kill crown: Kyle 210. Leaders: Kyle 210/35 · Jonathan 170/34 · Ice 155/36 · Don 143/44 · Chris 134/44 · Joe 77/29.

🏆 And the closer: Kyle was the only human on his side against 4 of them — and won it. The twist: the model made him the favourite at 69%. Team strength is additive, so one player rated well above average can outweigh four rated below it, even after the extra-body bonus their side gets for every human we are short. Whether that is wisdom or a blind spot is the argument — the model prices the empty seats, not the bots that fill them.

What the night said about the unrated: Joe -400 (-900..+245) — on four or five games, which is why the ranges are enormous. The repetition number, for the record: Chris+Jonathan rode together 5 of 5. With six people and no sheet that is not a criticism — it is just what improvised teams look like.

⚖ What still applies

📜 Last week (9/4), for the record

11 customs. The sheet was built for eight at four and eleven by half six; Jon, Jared and Joe never made it, Thaer played the opener and left as Vinny arrived, and Mo came in as Alan went out. Seven humans at most, so every game ran 3v4 with bots — the planned splits never applied, and the grade priced the real rosters with the model as it stood before the night. The favourite went 4–5 and side A won 5 against 3.0 expected. Kill leaders: Tomas 405/109 · Kyle 357/90 · Melo 351/91 · Michael 326/81.

What it settled: the two debuts, Thaer and Vinny, never shared a game, so they priced as one pool at -80 (-525..+335) against a -32 prior — unremarkable in the best way. Melo re-fit to -20 off a 4-5-2, a long way below the +305 his debut had him at, which is exactly what the ≈ on his chip is for. The repetition number was ugly (Alan+Melo together 6 of 6) — that one belongs to the lobby's own improvised teams, not the sheet. Full grade in the data.

Odds = a Bradley-Terry team strength model fit on our full record of decisive customs, validated at 63% accuracy on 183 held-out even-sided games it had never seen, with confidence shrunk by 0.6 to what our stated odds have actually cashed at.
